IPD Group has announced the acquisition of Sydney-based High Technology Control (HTC), effective immediately.  

A well-established electrical industry specialist, HTC’s products and services complement IPD Group’s growing portfolio and will provide all IPD Group and HTC customers with a stronger national footprint and supplier confidence.  

Our IPD team has worked around the clock to bring you the new and improved IPD website, with a range of new features, a modern look and simple functionality to provide a personalised digital experience to all new and current customers.  

Please welcome Amrit Gurung to IPD.  

Amrit is our new IT Support Engineer and will be looking after all our IT support functions via the help desk ticket system.  

Amrit comes to us with more than 10 years' experience. He is a dedicated Support Engineer with IT service provider and in house experience. He always gets the job done with little fuss.  

We are now in the third week of the Greater Sydney lockdown and our IPD operation still ticks along with our Distribution & Custom Assembly teams working split shifts and adhering to all the Health and Government restrictions to continue to deliver to our customer's expectations.  

Please welcome Gloria Sheather to IPD.  

Gloria is our new Payroll Officer and will be looking after all payroll functions.  

Gloria comes to us with more than 12 years payroll experience, including but not limited to awards classifications, Kronos etc. She was a makeup artist in her previous life, so feel free to get some pointers.  

IPD employees raised a cup to support those affected by cancer at Australia’s biggest tea morning held at various IPD offices across Australia. We were able to collect over $1600 for the fund and a big THANKS goes out to all the generous donations made by the staff.  

Please welcome Dane McNeair and Fred Zanganeh to IPD.  

Dane McNeair in joining our NSW Wholesale Team after spending 11 years at City Electrical of which 3 was as Branch Manager.  

Dane is a big family man and been blessed recently with twins. He loves the Broncos dearly, but heard whispers that the Panthers are moving closer to the number 1 team. Dane will be heading up the role of wholesaler- contractor rep for NSW and we believe he will achieve great things at IPD.  

We would like to congratulate Dave Oakley on 25 years of service with IPD. Thank you for being part of our IPD's success over the years. We greatly appreciate and value your hard work and success.

They come to us from IDEC as IPD is now the master distributor of IDEC Australia.
